ABC Table and Chairs

I painted this table and these chairs for my school's annual fundraiser. I think that this "job" was my favorite, as I was so happy with the outcome. I had posted it earlier, however, I like to post it again as it is my favorite! I am currently working on painting a bookcase and growth chart that I will post once they are finished.....

Ava's Bedroom Murals and Painting

So.. I was referred to a family by my friend, Summer, and they wanted a few paintings for their soon-to-be-born baby girl's room. Ava was coming in a few weeks, and they wanted her bedroom and bathroom to have little murals in various spots that matched their towels and bedding. I spent almost 2 full works days on both rooms, and I was happy (and they were happy) with the finished product...

So, here are the murals from little Ava's bathroom (lucky girl-to have such a nice bathroom).... I also painted some bunches of flowers above her mirror, but they are similar to the other photos, so I didn't include them. Overall, these 2 murals were the big ones in the bathroom....

"Sweet Dreams" Cradle

So... Awhile ago, I painted some items for a sale.. and this one is still around. My aunt had given me this old doll cradle to paint something on, and so I added this Sweet Dreams Pig and some delicious treats to dream about along the sides. I haven't really been in any sales since, so I still have this cradle, but sometimes think about making it into a canvas painting that could go over some child's (or my) bed. ...Although I don't think that my husband would care for a painting of a pig and cakes and brownies over the bed.......(maybe just the brownies....)

Birds for the Preschool Classroom part 1

So... my dear friend and fellow teacher, Kerry, asked me to make some little birds for her preschool classroom .. And so I did. These were made with color pencils and watercolor paints. Pretty fun...
